instead of doing responsibilities, let’s just breathe

I woke up from the sound of downpour this morning.
The rain was so heavy but because I planned to stay home lazing all day, I consider it as a serendipity.

Which brings my musing back to the day with identical weather, only I was outside.

After missed its closing hour the day before, we finally arrived at Ananta Samakom Throne Hall.
Initially, I wanted to revisit Vimanmek Mansion as it left such an impression on my 17-year-old self the first time I visited Bangkok, but at the time it was closed for renovation (wow such a fate).

Nevertheless, the throne hall is just as beautiful, in a grand way!
Please note that woman are required to wear long skirt/dress to enter. Wasn't aware of it until a resident staff told me, sometimes it's useful having the determination to dress up for the occasion.
No recording devices were allowed inside the hall. So, after the tour, by the time wehttps://www.instagram.com/yyyulianasari/ took these photos it started raining hard. Everyone scattered around trying to find shelter. Eventually, two of us and bunch of other unfortunate tourists had to share a space near the hall entrance.

It was hot and humid; even a commotion happened where a girl accidentally stepped on another girl's foot and although it didn't look that bad, the victim kept acting like any physical contact with stranger caused her chronic illness. At last we found a space spacious enough to sit and watched them arguing for don't know how long hahah.

After some time, the rain finally stopped.
Making splashes from the puddle, we excused ourselves and made our way farther to Jim Thompson House.

you will always be

This was my second time to Batu Secret Zoo, so the whole day was mostly spent with observing the details I missed during the first visit (2014). To my surprise there were a handful! Including Safari Farm which allows visitors to ride open roof Jeep and witness how animals there behave when they have associated Jeep coming equals to food. In short, I've never been that close with so many overly eager Mesofaunas (Φ ﻌ Φ)

Tried some of the theme park attractions, too! All of which gave me nightmare haha.
I think my subconscious is trying to erase my memory of the haunted house because little I can remember about it other than it's equipped with never ending hall and walking with squinted eyes while being sandwiched by nine other people wasn't enough to conceal my fear (or am I just that weak). I've decided to stick to reading and watching anything supernatural-related only afterwards, thank you.

And the roller coaster, let's just say I never knew that I had that much urge to live inside. All the sky-throwing rides I've ridden for my whole life can't compare to this loopless ride and its structure creaking on every turn (͘๑̊/﹏\)

The weather was nice that day so all the animals came out for the sun. Still an enjoyable visit, even after the  additional entertaining thrills. Maybe because your companion matters?
